The best originality of Gudauri is the distance between the capital of Georgia and the resort. It takes approximately 2 hours from Tbilisi to Gudauri. Shovi

Shovi is an Alpine resort of Georgia, Located on 1600 meters over the sea level. It is famous for its forests that occupy over 25 thousand hectares. You will find oaks, cornels, hornbeams, fir-trees and pine-trees and 16 springs of mineral waters there; these springs are used for medication of several diseases such as anemia, low pressure, bronchial glands and others. Because of high location and fresh air, the sunshine has great ultraviolet emanation that is widely used for curing especially for the people who lack D vitamin. For this reason, Shovi also is known as a medical resort.

Bakhmaro

Bakhmaro is one of the highest alpine climatic resort of the country. The View from the Bakhmaro peak are breathtaking, especially when there is clear visibility for watching the sunset on the Black Sea. Every year, on August 19, dozens of riders compete in a horse race in Bakhmaro as part of the celebration of the Transfiguration of Jesus.

Abastumani

Abastumani is a small town and spa resort in the region of Samtskhe-Javakheti. It is located on the southern slopes of the Meskheti Range. Abastumani possesses a moderately dry mountainous climate, with relative humidity reaching 50% only in summer. Abastumani's three hyperthermic springs are little mineralized, rich in sulfate-sodium chloride waters, which are used in the treatment of tuberculosis. Abastumani is also a starting point for hikes into the Borjomi-Kharagauli National Park. The Georgian National Astrophysical Observatory is located at Abastumani as well.
