Kakheti is a Georgia’s premier Viticulture region with diverse nature of mountains, plains and valleys. The average temperature in winter is + 1.4 °, and in summer + 23 … + 25 °.
The 80 varieties of grape are grown there and the famous wineries always are open for tourists.Kakheti is known for its hospitality. The local wine cellars and Kakhetian families offer wines and traditional dishes to tourists willingly. The traditional sweets “Churchkhela” surely is served too.
This region is distinguished by its cultural monuments: fortresses, churches and monasteries, royal palaces. The ancient cities – Telavi and Sighnaghi attract lots of visitors with their beautiful views and architecture.

Tusheti is one of the ,,must see” and historic regions in Georgia, located on the northern slopes of the Greater Caucasus Mountains in Kakheti region. It is almost 3000m above sea level. Most impressive villages are Shenako, Diklo, Dartlo, Parsma, Verkhovani. The region has severe climate, first snow comes in autumn and stays until late spring. The Main village – Omalo, 1800m above sea level attracts visitors with its tower houses and charming landscapes. The road to Tusheti is considered as one of the most dangerous roads in the world. The road lays on slopes and goes up to 9842 feet over gorges of Tusheti. There is a National Park there, which is extremely Protected Area in Georgia. The park was named one of the12 best places you’ve never heard of by Budget Travel in 2011 not only for its rich biodiversity but also for its territories, old defense towers, folk culture and cuisine.
